Instructions

  • Bake the cake mix in a 9x13 inch baking pan according to the package directions.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely before crumbling it into a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix in the chocolate frosting from the can thoroughly.
  • Make small balls out of the mixture and insert a lollipop stick into each one.
  • Freeze the cake pops for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Melt the candy melts as directed on the package.
  • Dip each cake pop into the melted candy and sprinkle with sugar balls to finish.
  • To set, place the cake pops on a sheet of wax paper.
