Strawberry and Vanilla Cake Pops Recipe

These Strawberry and Vanilla Cake Pops are a delicious and entertaining treat for any occasion. For a burst of fruity flavor, the vanilla cake is studded with finely chopped strawberries, and the candy coating and sprinkles make them ideal for parties or gifts.

  • Prep Time: 1 hour
  • Cook Time: 30 minutes
  • Total Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to the temperature recommended on the cake mix package.
  • Grease and flour a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Prepare the cake mix according to the package directions, then fold in the finely chopped strawberries.
  • Bake for the time specified on the cake mix box, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool completely before crumbling it into a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix in the vanilla frosting until the cake and frosting are completely combined.
  • Roll the mixture into small 1 inch diameter balls.
  • Place a lollipop stick into each cake ball and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Melt the white candy melts as directed on the package.
  • Dip each cake pop into the melted candy and sprinkle with sprinkles to finish.
  • To set, place the cake pops in a Styrofoam block.
  • To add decoration, melt the pink candy melts and drizzle over the cake pops.
  • Before serving, allow the cake pops to cool and harden.
