Cake Pops with Chocolate and Vanilla Sprinkles Recipe
Chocolate cake and vanilla frosting are coated in melted chocolate and drizzled with vanilla candy coating and rainbow sprinkles to make these adorable and delicious cake pops.
Ingredients
- 1 package vanilla candy coating
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup vanilla frosting
- 1 box chocolate cake mix

- Cook Time: 30 minutes
- Total Time: 1 hour
Instructions
- Bake and cool the chocolate cake mix according to the package directions.
- In a large mixing bowl, crumble the cooled cake and stir in the vanilla frosting until well combined.
- Form the cake mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until completely melted.
- Insert a lollipop stick into a cake ball after dipping it in melted chocolate.
- Repeat with the remaining cake balls.
- Tap off any excess chocolate before placing each cake pop back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the vanilla candy coating in 30-second increments, stirring after each interval, until completely melted.
- Drizzle the melted vanilla candy coating over the chocolate-covered cake pops, followed by the rainbow sprinkles.
- Allow the cake pops to cool completely and the coating to harden before serving.
