Blueberry Cake Pops Recipe
Blueberry cake pops are a tasty and fun treat that are ideal for any occasion. These bite-sized snacks are simple to make and can be decorated to match any party theme or color scheme.
Ingredients
- sprinkles for garnish
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 package of lollipop sticks
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 blueberry cake mix box
- Three large eggs
- 1 package candy melts
- 1/2 cup of water
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 30 minutes
- Cook Time: 35 minutes
- Total Time: 1 hour, 5 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.
- With a spatula, gently fold in the blueberries.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean, in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.
- Using your hands, crumble the cake into a bowl.
- Make small balls out of the cake mixture and insert a lollipop stick into each one.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the candy melts according to the package directions.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted candy and sprinkle with sprinkles to finish.
- Before serving, allow the candy coating to harden.
