These Donut Cake Pops are a tasty and fun treat that everyone will enjoy. They have a moist cake centre that is coated in candy melts and topped with colorful sprinkles. Ideal for parties or as a special treat at any time.

Ingredients

  • Prep Time: 20 minutes
  • Cook Time: 30 minutes
  • Total Time: 50 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs.
  • Blend the mixture until it is smooth.
  • Pour the batter into a 9x13 inch greased cake pan.
  • 25-30 minutes in the oven.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and set aside for 10 minutes to cool.
  • Using a fork, crumble the cake into fine crumbs.
  • Mix the vanilla frosting into the cake crumbs until well combined.
  • Make small balls out of the mixture.
  • Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Fill each ball with a lollipop stick.
  • Refrigerate the baking sheet for 30 minutes.
  • Melt the candy melts as directed on the package.
  • Each cake pop should be dipped in melted candy melts and sprinkled with sprinkles.
  • To dry, place the cake pops in a cake pop stand or Styrofoam block.
  • Serve and have fun.
