These chocolate fudge cake pops are ideal for any occasion. These cake pops are sure to please with a moist and chocolatey cake center, covered in creamy vanilla frosting, and dipped in smooth chocolate.   • Cook Time: 35 minutes
  • Total Time: 55 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs.
  • 2 minutes on medium speed with an electric mixer, until well combined.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean, in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and set it aside to cool completely.
  • When the cake has cooled, crumble it into a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix in the vanilla frosting from the can.
  • Make small balls out of the mixture and insert lollipop sticks into each one.
  • Freeze the cake pops for 30 minutes on a baking sheet.
  • Melt chocolate candy according to package directions in the microwave.
  • Allow excess chocolate to drip off each cake pop as it is dipped in the melted chocolate.
  • Roll the cake pops in rainbow sprinkles and set them on wax paper to set.
  • Before serving, place the cake pops in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
