Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup colorful sprinkles
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 30 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
- Using the vegetable oil, eggs, and water, prepare the cake mix according to the package directions.
- Incorporate the mini marshmallows.
- Spoon the batter into a cake pop maker and bake for 4-5 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- Allow the cake pops to completely cool.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and vegetable shortening, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth.
- Dip each cake pop in melted chocolate and immediately top with colorful sprinkles.
- Refrigerate the cake pops for 10-15 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
- Serve and have fun.
