Strawberry Cake Pops Recipe

Strawberry cake pops are a fun and tasty treat that are ideal for parties and special occasions. They'll be a hit with kids and adults alike because they're made with a moist strawberry cake base and coated in sweet candy melts.

  • Prep Time: 20 minutes
  • Cook Time: 30 minutes
  • Total Time: 50 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Combine cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix until everything is well combined.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean, in a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely before crumbling it into a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix the crumbled cake with the cream cheese frosting until well combined.
  • Form small balls of cake mixture with a cookie scoop or a tablespoon.
  • Insert a lollipop stick into the centre of each cake ball.
  • Melt candy melts according to package directions in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Dip each cake pop into the melted candy melts, coating completely on all sides.
  • Sprinkle the cake pops with your favourite sprinkles and place them in a foam block to dry and harden.
  • Allow at least 1 hour before serving to chill.
